Based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel The Scarlet Letter, this musical adaptation combines contemporary sounds of rock, pop, folk, and soul to retell the tale of a woman's public punishment and her path to redemption.

 

Like in the novel, the plot unfolds in Puritanical New England America, but her experience continues to resonate with the female narrative of our current times.

 

This exciting project is in development and we anticipate another successful reading this fall.
